2009 Room & Board Information

Room & board deposit & registration fee are due with registration. Registration deadline of APRIL 28, 2009. Contact the registrar after April 28th to see what space is still available. Registrations postmarked after available registration date will be accepted only if space is available and will be priority according to postmark date. The room & board deposit and registration fee are refundable until May 15, 2009.

Registration Fee - $85.00 per person

Scholarship Fund Donation - $10 Suggested Donation

*Please mail ONE CHECK to the amount of $235.00 by APRIL 28, 2009 payable to “Jenna Williams YRUU Registrar” with registration form, minor medical release (if applicable) and a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Jenna Williams, c/o YRUU Registrar, 349 North Ave Apt 1, Rockland MA 02370. Room & Board Rates 2009

The following rates cover your room & board costs for YRUU Week on Star Island. Room & board covers sleeping quarters, meals, hospitality services and much more that the island provides. The Registration fee is put towards our conference programming - planning workshops, events and even sending people to our conference. The following amounts exclude registration fee of $85.00, boat fare of $41/round trip and parking (if applicable) at $10/day.

Adult Rates (18+)   Triple - $710.00   Double - $754.00  Single - $972.00

Payment

While every attempt will be made to accommadate room preferences, no request can be guaranteed. But the registrar will work tirelessly to try to make it work for you. The amount due after registration is collected at the front desk during the conference. We recommend that conferees pay via cash or blank check, as the room and board rates are not guaranteed. Scholarships

YRUU Week on Star Island has a Scholarship Fund! Our conference is funded by the nonprofit organization, Religious Youth Empowerment Inc. - a brand new, grassroots organization formed by current and former members of our conference. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please see our downloads section. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and time which applications are received - so act fast! The 2009 staff of our conference understands the need of scholarships this coming year and highly recommends personal fundrasing in addition to scholarships. There are lots of ways to raise money - your church, your church district, youth group fundraisers, saving cash - you name it.   Scholarship forms are due by APRIL 28, 2009.
