About
For 26 years, YRUU Week on Star Island has fostered spiritual growth and creative expression in a supportive community of empowered youth. Young Religious Unitarian Universalist (YRUU) Week on Star Island is an annual conference for youth ages 15-22 from widespread congregations. This youth-run, week-long conference consists of up to 100 conferees, which come together for a week of workshops ranging from art to men’s and women’s groups to fun in the sun. By the end of the conference, youth come to love and appreciate island traditions such as candlelight worship services, bonfire, Banquet night and more. Join us in making new friendships or renewing old ones along the beautiful scenery that is Star Island.
Star Island is one of the Isles of Shoals, located seven miles off the coast of New Hampshire in the Atlantic Ocean. It is owned and operated by the Star Island Corporation as a religious and educational conference center, with close ties to the Unitarian Universalist Association.
